Hampton Mansion

Hampton mansion is a historical site operated by US National Park Service. This mansion and its grounds were once the essential part of the vast Ridgely estate. The property was built and owned by the Ridgely family in the 18th century. The preserved parts of the property that can be visited include a Georgian manor house, beautiful gardens and original stone slave quarters. The wealthy family started building their mansion in 1745 and finished it in 1790. At the time, this house was the largest private residence in the US. If you love art history and architecture, you must visit this brilliant piece of Georgian architecture.
